hotlinking is fine. although embedding video is much easier, it might be a bit too tough for those with low-end pcs who can only handle one video at a time/those with 56k dial-up connections.

enh, at most, I'd suggest having it only on one board. although even at that, I've noticed that playing an embedded video sometimes freezes my browser. not sure if that's fixed in FF3, but...

All right, I won't bother trying to do this. Naturally, I meant that this would be either on its own board or in /media/. At least no one can say I didn't try to bring a bit of Kusaba over here.
