Google "fetal cells" or "Cells in a growing fetus and all you'll see are research papers and studies about what you're talking about, only in the context of curing diseases.
Extending life might require the manipulation of telomere, which gets complicated and apoptosis (pre-programmed cell death) getting screwed up leads to about 90% of fun cancers. There's basically a cap at the end of a cells called telomere, which protects a cell from destruction and epic failure after a certain amount of reproduction by setting a fixed amount of replication. Stem cells display telomerASE which cuts (and rebuild) this telomere "cap" and instead adds rebuilds the telomere sequence onto the end of the DNA/RNA strand to allow it to keep dividing indefinitely.
DID YOU KNOW that there was a woman (I forget her name) but something like 40 or 50 (or was it 100?) years ago, she died of cancer. They're still growing the cells they extracted from her TODAY.
Also, tons of energy goes in to making a child, if you've ever seen a pregnant woman eat.
